REPRODUCTIONUNIT FOR CONTENT OF PC- VIDEOSIGNALS
ON THE BASIC OF COMPROMISING EMISSIONS - ICU2
ITarget
The name of the IT - monitoringsystem was
created as ICU2 according to the english alphabet.
ICU2 it means - 1 see you too.
The reproduction-unit ICU2 receives signals
created
by the video-subsystem of a standard - PC.
These signals generate the frames and the pictures
of a PC-monitor-screen. Without any physical
connection to the target-PC it is possible to read
out the content of the video subsystem in a
distance of appr.-30 meters (under a
centraleuropean envinroment) by the means of
digital signal-processing. This twin-picture will
be visualized on a seperate monitor.
The ICU2 is designed to receive the signals not
only from the air, but in a weaker quality (due to
weaker transmission-energy) also as surfacewaves
on metallic tubes etc. as well as inductive waves
/ fields from the voltage supply-system of the
targetPC. Both possibilities are optional and have
to be ordered seperately.
ICU2 was developed on a modular systemstructure.
lt is characterized by small voltage consumption,
possibilities of mobil operation, thermale
resistance and upgrade options for implementing
further applications (upwardcompatibility). The
ICU2system consists of the following components:
Power
220/240 V +5%, -10% 50 to 60 Hz optional with
battery and charger
Cover Unit
- antennas of selected frequency range - passive
and active, in various constructionforms
according to the frequency range
- amplifier - lownoise broadband amplifier
protected by transient limiter
- receiver - (videotuner), IF - wideband widths
selectabie in a 1 : 2 : 5 sequence (1 F at least
from 1 upto 1 0 MHz), with preselection at the
target frequency range of from at least 25 upto
300 MHz.
